Thursday August 30th
The Sanker girls had a nice day out yesterday. We left early in the morning for a long walk. Our first destination was the park where we watched the Pitman boys soccer team scrimage Mantua. The girls also played on the playground and we walked around the nature trail. After the park we headed downtown to a new coffee shop. Emma, Annie,Ellie and I enjoyed sitting in the shop talking and sipping. On the walk home we all agreed that it was a delightful morning. The rest of our day was pretty uneventful. Emma and Annie played outside and Ellie nursed just about the entire afternoon and evening. The only break for Mom and Ellie was the walk to Emma's soccer practice. Ellie of course needed to be nursed at the field. Thankgod for park benches. Today we are getting ready for our road trip tomorrow. We can't wait to see Aunt Jenny! The pictures posted are from our outing yesterday. I will be sure to blog all of our adventures in Newark this weekend!

They can't all be easy days!
Monday was our first official tough day. Ellie was woken up earlier then she wanted and I paid for it all day. I felt like a cow by the end if the day. I really didn't get up from my chair other then to change Ellie and myself. All she did was nurse and fuss and nurse and nurse and nurse. It is amazing to me how tired I was by the end of the day. Luckily Emma and Annie were out with their Nana and PopPop having a nice day. What a difference a day makes. Today Ellie has been sleeping almost the whole day and has been delightful her few waking moments. I have had some time to recover which is nice. The whole gang is excited because we are going up to Rutgers this Friday to watch Aunt Jenny play soccer. We are finally getting up to see her apartment and school. Yay!

Saturday August 25th 2007
Happy Birthday Grandpa! Today is a great day! Not only is it Grandpa's special day but Ellie woke up with her cord off her belly button. I am so excited. We had our first real bath and it was so exciting. Everything is going good here. Annie called at 11 last night from Grandmoms a little homesick. We talked to her for a while and she was fine but it still breaks my heart. Both Emma and Annie are doing so good with their little sister but really need some extra loving right now. Emma is doing so good at soccer her Dad and I are are very proud. This year is going to be great for watching soccer. I added a movie on the blog I hope everyone enjoys.

Froggy
Here we are on Wednesday with our new haircuts. Everyone looks fantastic. Yesterday was a busy day. We all went to the hair dressers and to pick up school supplies. Ellie had a weigh in and I did not need to cross my fingers. She gained so much weight. Suction cup (Ellies new nickname thanks to Annie) now weighs 6 lbs 7 oz. I am very sad. Everything about her is growing and changing way to fast. Daddy says that she looks like a frog with her skinny little legs and her big fat belly. I can't completely disagree. I finally have a few new pictures. The 3 I posted today were taken just this morning.

Monday
Time is moving way too fast in the Sanker House. Everyone is doing well. Emma and Annie are getting excited about school starting but don't want to let go of the summer. They miss the beach and I hope they get there again before school. Annie is also getting glasses for the new school year. Ellie is getting bigger everyday. Except for a few screaming spells at night she is really good. She is excelling at pooping and sleeping. Tommorow is her second check up and we are keeping our fingers crossed that she makes weight. Mike and I are joining the Presbyterian Church in Pitman this Sunday. We are happy to make the move and the kids are excited too. We are hoping to have Ellie's Christining on September 9. I will notify everyone when its definite. Today is my first day alone with all my girls. So far so good. I am really tired of being stuck. I want to run, walk or even elliptical. It is so hard not to be active. My legs actually hurt from the lack of movement. That is enough complaining from me. I hope to have some newer pictures of the family to post soon.

Ellie Jane Sanker
Ellie Jane Sanker is already one week old. Time really does fly. Here is a little more info on her. Ellie was born on Friday August 10 th 2007 at 4:29 pm. She weighed 5 lbs 14.6 oz and was 20 inches long. Little but tall. She is tiny like Emma (6 lbs 3oz) and Annie (5 lbs 13 oz) both were. I had a little help from modern medicine to bring Ellie into this world and even though it was more painful it was worth every second. I first felt guilty but soon realized there was a reason I needed that experience. The end result was still a bouncing baby girl. The hospital stay had its ups and down but we were surrounded by our loving family. So far so good with EJ. Her first doctors appointment went well except for the Hep B vaccine. She is gaining weight and looks good. Ellie is a great nurser and so far we have no problems other then some soreness. Emma and Annie seem to be adjusting. I know how difficult it is for them at times and still they amaze me with their patience and love for EJ. They are great big sisters and I am very proud.

4 + 1 = 5
OK here we go.......my attempt to be hip and blog! The reason I wanted to do this is because I feel I am the luckiest person alive. My luck started years ago when I met the most amazing man alive and from there came Emma and then Annie. Most recently my luck has been reconfirmed by the addition of Ellie into my life and at this point I can no longer be selfish by keeping these experiences to myself. So here I am ready to share my beautiful family to those who want to be a part. I am hoping for the best.
