Friday is here

The weather is finally breaking and it is going to be beautiful this weekend. Perfect weather for soccer. Annie has a game tomorrow at 11 and Emma's game is at 1. The Sanker's 5 had a very busy week. Annie started Brownies on Wednesday and is very excited. Emma has decided to play in the band so we are renting her a clarinet. She will be performing at this years Christmas concert. Ellie is doing better after a rough start to the week. My poor baby seems to suffer with belly issues. After talking with other moms and researching online I found something that really seems to work. I never heard of Gripe water before Monday and I wish I had. This homeopathic medicine really seems to help. The ingredients are for relieving gas, upset stomach, reflux and the dreaded Colic. So far so good but I need more time before I'm sure that its my miracle. The entire family is keeping their fingers crossed.

We are looking forward to next week. Monday is Daddy's birthday andThursday we leave for Lockport NY. Watch out other Sankers were a coming.

Ellie is so big

Mom is also very proud of little Ellie. Grandma and Grandpa watched the girls on Saturday night and Ellie was pretty well behaved. She is getting bigger every day. I am already putting clothes away because she is too long. I really wish they would stay little forever.

Soccer Saturday

Another Soccer day has come and gone. Annie's team did fantastic winning against the Green Team 3-1. Go Blue team! Emma's game was also action packed ending in a tie to a very good Paulsboro team. Go Calico Cats!

Pep

I am a very proud mom. My Emma has been picked to be in the Walls school enrichment program this year. Only a small percent (3-5%) of students are picked out of the third, forth and fifth grades. The school picks the students from teacher nominations, classroom performance and standerdized testing. I am so excited. We always new Emma was brillant. We recieved the letter from the school on Friday and the program starts in October. This is a great opportunity for Emma and I hope she gets a lot from the experience.

What?

Fun Friday

Every Friday is called fun Friday. What a great morning. Ellie was squealing with delight after her bath this morning. I was so excited. She was talking and laughing for the first time. I had to take a minute to share this. Ellie is getting so big. Cranky time is making her chunky because all she wants to do is nurse. Emma and Annie both have games tomorrow so I will blog Sunday with the results. Tomorrow is my first day back to running. Can't wait. Mike and I are going to try and take the girls to Washington Lake Park so we can run together with the girls on their bikes. Yeah Happy Fun Friday!

The Long Road to Recovery

The Sankers are alive and well. Some of us don't bounce back as well as others. Emma and Annie are recovering from their colds. I am still healing from Mastitis. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow. I'm finally at my 6 weeks and can't wait to run this weekend. Ellie is doing just fine. Cranky time has been rough. I'm trying to stay positive about it but its hard sometimes. Everyone seems to deal with it better than Mommy.

The weekend was nice. The weather was perfect. We tried to go to the Pitman Craft Fair for a few minutes but we had soccer pictures and Annie had a game. Annies team won. We did enjoy breakfast with Nana and Pop Pop at Hereos in downtown Pitman. Saturday afternoon we went to Aunt Jenny's soccer game. The game was at Rutgers Camden and the game was tied after overtime. Sunday was filled with church and grocery shopping. This week is filled with dentist and doctors appointments. Nothing real interesting to blog about but that won't stop me from doing it anyway.

Bad Day

This is the first time today that I made it downstairs and its 2:05 in the afternoon. I woke up last night around midnight with a 102. fever. I feel awful. It appears to be a case of Mastitis which is a clogged milk duct. The midwife on call was kind enough to call in antibiotics for me first thing this morning. I am supposed to stay in bed for at least 3 days and shouldn't start feeling better until then. Mastitis is nasty and takes a long time to release its grip. I had this with Emma too. So wish me luck. I haven't been able to get my fever under 100.3 with meds so I'm going to go lay down again before my head explodes.

Tired?

Annie's Class

Reality

Last week was back to school week. I have been yelled at for not posting a new blog. Honestly I just have not had time. I was shocked at how little I was able to accomplish last week. The girls made out great with their first two days of school. They both seem to really like their teachers. Emma and Annie have been homework free so far but I can't say the same for me. The first few days are always filled with paperwork and trying to organize eveything involved with school. The girls soccer seasons have now officially started and we had two games on Saturday. Annie did fantastic on her very first day. Her team did lose to the red team 4-0. She was a little disappointed but excited to finally be playing on a team. Emma's first game with the new team was great. They tied with Westville 2-2. Saturday was a long hot day for the entire family. Both sets of Grandparents made it to the games which really ment alot to the girlies. Emma has a by this coming weekend so we get a little break. Ellie is delightful. Growing way way too fast. Today she is one month old. This is our first full week of school and I think everyone is a little on the tired side but we are all going to have to adjust.

Ellie at College

The Arcade

Labor Day Weekend

What a weekend! I can't say I ever remember having such a great holiday weekend like the one the Sanker family just had. Our adventure started on Friday when we headed for beautiful Newark New Jersey. We enjoyed seeing Aunt Jenny so much. Her apartment is college cool. The crew walked around Rutgers Newark and watched Aunt Jenny play soccer. The girls were really good on this trip. Actually they were great all weekend. Even the car rides went swimingly. After our day trip on Friday we woke up early on Saturday morning and decided to head to the shore. We made the right choice. The weather was perfect and the shore house was a great change for me. Aunt Jenny, Grandmom and Grandpa were already down when we arrived and crashed their quiet weekend. We had dinner together on Saturday night and they all went to the beach together on both days. Ellie and I enjoyed our time together relaxing at the house. Sunday night we went to the boardwalk and played in the arcade. Mike and I played a game of pool for the first time in ages. Then we walked the boards and shopped. What fun we had! Yesterday we packed up and headed home and soon after arriving at the house we were off again to the Pitman Carnival. The girls went on rides and played games. Today is back to reality. Poor Daddy is back to work and the girls are getting ready for their first day of school. This week will be filled with excitement. Emma has her first scrimmage on Thursday night and her first game on Saturday and Annie also starts soccer this weekend. We all can't wait!!!!!
